REPSLog offers three plans: Free, Starter, and Premium. This article compares what each one includes so you can pick the plan that fits how you track your hours.
Before You Start
- You can subscribe on mobile (Apple App Store or Google Play) or on the web (Stripe checkout). You get the same features either way; the difference is how billing is handled.
- Prices are shown at checkout in the app or on the web, since they can vary by store and region. This article compares features; for current pricing, open the subscription screen in the app.
- Not sure which plan you are on? Open your billing settings in the app to check.

Which Plan Is Right for You?
Free
A good way to try REPSLog. You can log up to 5 entries, track 1 property and 1 category, add up to 10 participants, use the live timer, see your hours dashboard, and export or import your data. It does not include the AI-powered or automation features.
Starter
Best if you have hit the Free limits but do not need the advanced features. Starter gives you unlimited log entries and unlimited participants, and raises you to 3 properties and 4 categories. The live timer, dashboard, and CSV export/import are included. Note that the AI features (voice logging, AI autofill), calendar sync, reminders, in-app search, and managed accounts are not part of Starter; those are Premium.
Premium
The full experience. Everything is unlimited (entries, properties, categories, attachments, participants), plus the features that speed up tracking and let you share the work:
- Voice logging and AI autofill — speak an entry, or type a quick note and let the app fill in the details.
- Calendar sync — turn your calendar events into logged hours automatically.
- Reminders and in-app search — stay on top of logging and find any entry fast.
- Managed accounts — invite your spouse, an assistant, or your CPA with their own secure login. Give full access or read-only, so someone can log hours for you or simply review them, without sharing your password (up to 5 people).
- Log by chat — connect ChatGPT or Claude (or use the developer API) to add and check your hours in plain language.
Tip: Open the subscription or upgrade screen in the app to see each plan's current price alongside these features before you decide.
Trying Premium First
If you want to explore Premium before paying, you may be able to start with a free trial. See Can I try REPSLog before committing to a full payment?
Changing Your Plan Later
You are not locked in. You can upgrade, downgrade, or switch billing cycles as your needs change.
- On mobile, see How to Change Your REPSLog Subscription Plan (iOS & Android).
- On the web, manage your plan through your Stripe subscription settings. See How to Manage Your REPSLog Web Subscription (Stripe).
Troubleshooting
The app says I hit my limit even though I am on a paid plan.
This usually points to a plan level, a restore issue, or a sign-in mismatch. See Why does REPSLog say I've reached my max limits even though I have a paid plan?
Which platform should I subscribe on?
Both mobile and web give you the same REPSLog features. The main difference is how billing and card control work. If managing your card directly matters to you, web checkout through Stripe gives you more control.
If you are still stuck, contact us and we will help.
When it comes to tax strategy, please consult with your CPA or tax professional. REPSLog helps you track and visualize your hours, but your CPA will guide you on the exact requirements for your situation.
