REPSLog signs you in with a magic link: instead of a password, you enter your email and we send you a one-time link that signs you in when you tap it. This article walks you through the whole flow and covers what to do if a link does not arrive or stops working.
Before You Start
- There is no separate "create account" step anymore. The same email flow signs you in if you already have an account and creates one for you if you do not.
- This works the same way on mobile (iOS and Android) and on the web app.
- Have access to the inbox for the email address you plan to use. You will need to open the link we send there.
Sign In with a Magic Link
- Open REPSLog and go to the sign-in screen.
- Type your email address into the Email field.
- Tap Continue. We send a sign-in link to that address.
- You will see a confirmation that reads Check your inbox, along with a note that the link expires in 15 minutes and can only be used once.
- Open your email inbox and find the message from REPSLog. The subject line is Sign in to REPSLog.
- Tap the Sign in button in the email (or copy and paste the link into your browser if the button does not work).
- The link opens REPSLog and signs you in automatically. You will briefly see Signing you in... before you land on your dashboard.
Tip: Open the link on the same device you want to use REPSLog on. The link signs you in wherever you open it, so if you request it on your phone but open it on a laptop, you will be signed in on the laptop instead.
If You Do Not See the Email
- Wait a minute. Email can take a short while to arrive.
- Check your spam or junk folder, and any "Promotions" or filtered tabs.
- Make sure you entered the right address. From the confirmation screen, tap Use a different email to go back and re-enter it.
- If you still do not have it, tap Resend link. For a short cooldown after sending, this button shows a countdown (for example, Resend in 30s) before you can request another one.
If the Link Has Expired
Each sign-in link is valid for 15 minutes and can be used only once. If you open a link that is too old or that you already used, REPSLog shows a Link expired screen explaining that the link has expired or has already been used.
To continue, tap Back to sign in, enter your email again, and request a fresh link.
Other Ways to Sign In
The magic link is not your only option. On the sign-in screen you can also use:
- Continue with Google to sign in with your Google account.
- Continue with Apple to sign in with your Apple account (available on iPhone and on the web).
If you have set up a passkey (Face ID, Touch ID, or your device unlock), REPSLog can offer that for faster sign-in, with an option to email yourself a sign-in link instead. Some accounts also use a traditional password. See the related Help Center articles on passkeys and password sign-in for those flows.
Troubleshooting
I never received the sign-in email
Check your spam or junk folder first, and confirm you typed the correct address (use Use a different email to fix it). Then tap Resend link. If several attempts fail, you may briefly see a message that there have been too many sign-in attempts. Wait a few minutes and try again.
I tapped the link but it says the link expired
Links last 15 minutes and work only once, so an old link or one you already opened will not work. Go back to the sign-in screen, enter your email, and request a new link. Open the new one promptly.
I opened the link on a different device than I expected
The link signs you in on whichever device opens it. If you opened it somewhere you did not intend, just request a new link from the device you actually want to use, and open that link there.
I am still stuck on the sign-in screen
The sign-in screen has a Trouble signing in? Contact support link that opens our support request form. You can also reach us directly below.
